City man holds knife to throat of 41-year-old woman, police say

A 44-year-old Lebanon man is accused of holding a knife to the throat of a 41-year-old woman and threatening to harm her.

Lebanon City Police charged Victor Colon-Negron with simple assault (domestic-violence related), after the incident on the 200 block of Steitz Street at 3:36 p.m. Jan. 30. 

The victim was not injured during the incident. Colon was apprehended and transported to Lebanon County Central Booking and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge John Ditzler and incarcerated in lieu of $20,000 bail, police said.

Cornwall

Investigation Inside: Cornwall, Quentin and Mount Gretna fire companies were dispatched at 2:21 p.m. Thursday to 305 Spring Hill Lane for residential flooding.

Accident: Cierra Rae Smith, 19, of Manheim, was traveling westbound on route 322 when she struck a guide rail at about 9:28 p.m. Monday, Cornwall police said. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and a flat tire, but was drivable. She was not injured. 

Accident: A crash occurred at 4:09 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Route 72 and Williams Drive. Vehicles were driven by Adam Scott Montgomery, of Lebanon, and Mark W. Allen, of Harrisburg. There were no injuries reported and both vehicles were drivable.

West Cornwall

Deeer Struck: A deer was struck at about 2:57 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Colebrook Road and Arnold Court. Peggy Anne Murphy, 39, of Myerstown, was travelling south on Route 241, when she struck the deer. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was drivable.

Lebanon

Fire Alarm: City fire crews were dispatched at 4:26 p.m. Thursday to 1243 Lafayette St. for an activated smoke detector.

Fire Alarm: City fire crews were dispatched at 5:13 p.m. Thursday to Stevens Towers, 930 Willow St.

Assault: Donna Sirmans, 25, of Lebanon, has been charged with simple assault (domestic violence related) after an incident at 12:11 a.m. Friday on the 900 block of Cumberland Street. Sirmans is accused of striking a 29-year-old victim several times, causing injury to his head. The victim was treated for his injuries at a local medical facility. Sirman was taken to Lebanon County Central Booking and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.

Theft: Richard Andino, 34, of Lebanon, has been charged with theft after an investigation Friday at 765 Cumberland Street. Andino is accused of taking money from his employer totaling $2,730 over a weeklong period.

Public drunkenness: Adam Lengle, 42, of North Lebanon Township, was cited for public drunkenness at 4:15 p.m. Thursday on the 500 block of N. 4th Avenue.

Jackson

Crash: Keystone and Goodwill fire companies were dispatched at 4:30 p.m. Thursday to Mark's Exxon, 490 E. Lincoln Ave., for spill control from a non-injury crash. A police report was not immediately available. 

North Cornwall

Drug Possession: A traffic stop at 9:05 a.m. Friday in the 2200 block of Chestnut Street in Lebanon due to expired registration and inspection led to charges for Cody Noel Challenger, 27, of Williamstown. Challenger was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, driving an unregistered vehicle and operating vehicle without a valid inspection.
